Dedicated to David Bowies famous and beloved album "Heroes" I went out on the street and took portraits of complete strangers. Heroes - just for one day.
2015 I took a class in photography taught by the great Tim Bauer. The final project was a line of pictures dedicated to a certain brand. I chose Pantone. A brand that - in its beauty - has always been fascinating to me. Not only do I like the brnad's philosophy but their products are beautiful with their brilliance and high quality opacity. So I went in to prove the colors by redyeing nature. More specifically: pineapples and fruits in general. Why pineapples? Because I can't get enough of their smell, their shape, their sassiness and of course their taste. So here they are: Fruits blending in with color. Or color blending in with fruits.
Back in 2014 I created a series of photographs. I put miniature figures into different kinds of food. And what looked so sweet at first glance got a bitter aftertaste right the second. From the stalker behind the broccoli tree to the man jumping off the cookie tower to the man who has too many stories to tell but no words left to remember.
