hornbach chronicles of emotion - social media

In order to promote the HORNBACH services we came out with a social media campaign
that delved into the ups and downs of a doers project.
The hardships that are simply faster resolved with a little bit of help.

The social media campaign started out with a short video ad introducing the great variety of HORNBACH services.

Projects are real emotional rollercoasters.
Pure anger, great triumphs or utter madness.
You never know what to expect from your next project.

Therefore, we asked the HORNBACH community on Facebook and Twitter to share with us their best and worst project stories.
And we dedicated shortly illustrated GIFs to the stories that caught our eyes the most.
Of course we added some charming hints to the HORNBACH services and how they could have helped in those certain situations.

Roof batterns

Markus told us about the one time he bought roof batterns at HORNBACH and spent time and sweat trying to tie them down on top of his small car. Eventually - drenched in sweat - he managed to secure and bring them all home safely.
However, with the transporter rental by HORNBACH it would have all been so much easier. Next time!

The Log house

Jörgs project of building an entire log house from scratch was truely utter madness. We could only remind him of the far over 100 000 products he could order in the HORNBACH online shop in case he needed some more materials last minute.

Born to paint.

Anna shared her house refurbishing story. Her 3 year old daughter turned out to be the hero on the construction site and a professional painter as well. We wanted her to know that she can actually mix her own wall paint on the HORNBACH website or directly in the stores.
